Key Responsibilities

• Support daily cash management, funding, and liquidity monitoring across the fund's trading entities

• Assist with counterparty and prime broker relationship management, and reconciliation

• Monitor financing activity (repo, reverse repo, securities lending) and settlement processes

• Support reporting on treasury metrics including liquidity, leverage, and financing costs

• Assist in preparing materials for internal stakeholders and senior management

• Support analysis of the treasury portfolio, including financing mix, tenor profile, and counterparty concentration

• Help monitor portfolio-level exposures and financing costs across asset classes and trading entities

• Assist in evaluating the impact of trade activity and market moves on the treasury portfolio's risk and liquidity profile

• Support scenario analysis and stress testing of the treasury portfolio under varying market conditions

• Assist in identifying trends and opportunities to improve portfolio efficiency, diversification, and cost of financing

Data Analytics & Automation

• Build and maintain automated workflows to calculate and validate margin requirements across asset classes

• Develop tools/scripts to ingest, clean, and analyse large data sets from internal systems and market data providers

• Automate treasury processes (e.g., margin call workflows, collateral reporting, reconciliations)

• Design dashboards and reports to track margin usage, trends, and exceptions

• Partner with technology teams to improve data pipelines feeding treasury systems

Margin & Collateral Optimization

• Support the buildout of tools to optimize collateral allocation against margin requirements across counterparties

• Analyse opportunities to reduce funding costs through more efficient collateral usage (cheapest-to-deliver logic, cross-margining, netting opportunities)

• Assist in modelling the impact of proposed collateral moves on excess/deficit positions

• Help identify and quantify inefficiencies in current margin/collateral processes and propose data-driven improvements

• Support ad hoc analysis on margin methodology sensitivities and stress scenarios

Key Requirements

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or a related field. Background in Data Analytics, Computer Science, or a quantitative discipline is a plus

• Proficiency in Python, SQL, VBA required

• Familiarity with Bloomberg (BBG functions, data extraction, API)

• Strong Excel skills; experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau)

• Self-starter who takes initiative and proactively identifies opportunities to improve processes

• Detail-oriented with high accuracy under time pressure

• Genuine interest in treasury, fixed income financing, and portfolio/collateral management

• Eager to learn and grow, with a strong appetite for taking on increasing responsibility

• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment

• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
