Join Our Core Tech Team as an Intern! 

At Arrowpoint Investment Partners, our core tech team is on the lookout for talented and driven interns eager to make a real impact. In this role, you'll dive into real-world problems at the intersection of finance and technology, tackling challenges that come with managing multiple trading strategies and diverse asset classes. You'll work on cutting-edge initiatives designed to streamline complex multi-strategy operations, all while experiencing a dynamic startup culture infused with an entrepreneurial “can-do” attitude.

What we are looking for

  • Penultimate students enrolled in technical undergraduate programs such as Computer Science, Electronic Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field, particularly those seeking an industry placement as part of their degree. 

  • Candidates able to commit to a full-time internship for 3 months or more, starting from May 2025 

  • Proficiency in at least one programming language, with Python strongly preferred. 

  • Possessing the skillset to effectively leverage a variety of AI tools—knowing which tasks can be efficiently outsourced to AI, understanding the potential pitfalls, and striking the right balance between automation and human oversight—is a huge plus for this role. 

  • Candidates who rank in the top 10% of their class in relevant subjects—such as NUS's CS2040(S) or CS2040(C), NTU's IE2108 (Data Structures & Algorithms in Python), SMU's CS201 (Data Structures and Algorithms), or equivalent courses focusing on data structures, algorithms, and software development fundamentals—demonstrating an A- or above performance. 

  • A hardworking individual who is not only enthusiastic but also willing to take on any task and execute it effectively, no matter how diverse or challenging. 

  • Those who bring a proactive and innovative approach to their work. 

  • Applicants with a deep interest in the hedge fund, investing, and trading domain, eager to apply their technical skills to real-world financial challenges. 

  • Prior internship experience as a software engineer is not mandatory, but it is highly valued.

Interview Process 

Our interview process starts with an online coding test to evaluate your programming skills. Next, you'll have a technical interview focused on your problem-solving approach and expertise, followed by an HR interview to discuss your fit with our company culture and your career goals. Depending on the situation, we may schedule an additional interview round.
