About this role 

Core Tech Team | Singapore or Hong Kong

Arrowpoint is seeking an experienced Trading Application Support Analyst with a strong focus on Orchestrade to join our fast-paced, global trading environment. This role is central to ensuring the stability and performance of our trading platforms and applications, minimizing disruptions and supporting the firm’s execution across multiple strategies and markets. 

You’ll work closely with portfolio managers, traders, technology teams, and vendors for application issues while helping shape improvements to our trading infrastructure. To support global trading hours, this position requires staggered shifts, rotational on-call coverage, and occasional weekend work. 

Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary contact for Orchestrade-related issues, handling monitoring, troubleshooting, and escalation to ensure seamless operation.

  • Proactively monitor Orchestrade and related trading platforms to identify and resolve issues before they impact trading activities.

  • Provide first-level and advanced troubleshooting across Orchestrade and other vendor platforms (e.g., FlexTrade, Tradeweb, Trading Technologies).

  • Manage escalation workflows, collaborating with Orchestrade vendor support, infrastructure, and internal development teams to drive timely resolution.

  • Partner with traders and middle office staff to align Orchestrade configurations with business needs and optimize workflows.

  • Support and coordinate Orchestrade upgrades, patches, and UAT testing, ensuring smooth rollouts with minimal impact on production.

  • Maintain up-to-date documentation for troubleshooting, escalation processes, and system procedures.

  • Conduct regular health checks and performance analyses of Orchestrade environments, driving reliability and speed.

  • Provide training and support to end-users on Orchestrade and related applications.

Requirements 

  • 5+ years of application support experience, ideally within a hedge fund, investment bank, or trading platform provider.

  • Hands-on expertise with Orchestrade (support, troubleshooting, configuration, upgrades, and performance monitoring). 

  • Solid understanding of trading operations and commonly used front-office applications.

  • Exposure to other trading platforms such as FlexTrade, Tradeweb, or Trading Technologies is a plus. 

  • Familiarity with SQL, APIs, and trading protocols such as FIX. 

  • Strong problem-solving ability to address complex, multi-system issues. 

  • Excellent communication skills, able to interact confidently with traders, operations, and technology partners. 

  • Experience managing vendor relationships and escalation processes. 

  • Flexibility to work shifts covering global markets, plus participation in after-hours on-call rotations. 

Nice-to-Haves 

  • Experience across other e-trading platforms, either buy-side, sell-side, or vendor. 

  • Scripting skills (Python, PowerShell, Shell) to automate support tasks. 

  • Familiarity with UNIX/Linux environments. 

  • ITIL v3/v4 certification and service management experience. 

  • Knowledge of messaging protocols (SOAP, JMS, MQ). 

  • Understanding of database administration and optimization.
