About this role

As a Product Manager, you will be central to developing our core technology platform, ensuring it supports various trading strategies effectively. This role requires a driven and adaptive problem solver to evolve our tech platform, making it robust, scalable, and adaptable to the growing and complex needs of the firm. 

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the design and implementation of a scalable technology platform that supports multiple trading strategies.

  • Collaborate closely with engineers to manage the complete product lifecycle, from planning and development to deployment and ongoing enhancement.

  • Documenting system requirements, applications and due diligence reports to ensure compliance and operational efficiency.

  • Act as the liaison between technical teams and business stakeholders, translating business needs into product requirements.

  • Foster strong collaborative relationships with all stakeholders, ensuring clear communication and alignment on project goals and deliverables.

  • Drive continuous enhancement of product offerings by leveraging feedback and new technologies to adapt to the market.

Requirements 

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Finance, or related fields. 

  • Proven track record (minimum 4 years) in product management or technology development, particularly in building and scaling platforms within the financial sector.

  • Familiarity with the full trade lifecycle, including trade execution, clearing, settlement, and reconciliation. Ability to manage products that interface directly with these aspects of trading operations, ensuring robust, compliant, and efficient workflows. 

  • Proficiency in data analysis and business intelligence tools such as SQL, Python, or similar. 

  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities, with expertise in documenting complex systems and presenting strategic insights to stakeholders at all levels. 

  • Demonstrated ability to think strategically about business, product, and technical challenges. 

  • Excellent project management skills, capable of leading multiple initiatives simultaneously under tight timelines. 

  • Extensive experience with Agile project management methodologies and a thorough understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC). 

Nice-to-Haves

  • Familiarity with finance and trading domain, particularly in multi-strategy hedge funds, is a significant plus. 

  • Experience with UI/UX design using tools such as Figma for wireframing and prototyping, to help bridge the gap between user experience and product functionality.

  • Experience working with market data and various Bloomberg products. 

  • Background in a fast-growing startup environment, wearing multiple hats and managing many streams at once. 

  • Familiarity with regulatory and compliance environments affecting financial trading platforms.
