Platform Manager (Project Manager)

Key Responsibilities
Collaborate closely with Portfolio Managers to understand their ongoing requirements and strategic goals.
Translate business needs into actionable project plans, ensuring alignment with broader organizational priorities and objectives.
Serve as the main point of contact between Portfolio Managers(PMs)/Investment teams, and work closely with the Platform and Technology teams to design and implement solutions that meet the specific needs of the PMs/Investment teams.
Build relationship with external vendors and service providers, brokers and custodians, as well as various teams across both Investment and Infrastructure teams internally to coordinate and deliver new initiatives and projects.
Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables and develop detailed project plans, timelines, and resource allocation strategies in collaboration with key stakeholders.
Oversee the execution of firmwide or PM-specific projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and budget.
Coordinate user testing, feedback collection, and adjustments to ensure optimal functionality.
Proactively manage issues that arise during the project lifecycle, ensuring timely resolution and minimal disruption to business operations.
Provide ongoing analysis and evaluation of existing operational processes and drive delivery of new solutions to optimize firmwide operations.
Stay informed of industry trends and best practices, applying relevant knowledge to ongoing projects.
Provide regular updates to senior management and stakeholders on project progress, risks, and outcomes.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree
Minimum 6-10 years of experience in Project Management, Product Management, Business Management or similar functions, preferably within an institutionalized hedge fund, asset management, investment bank, or other relevant financial institutions.
Proven track record of managing complex projects, particularly those involving multiple stakeholders and cross-functional teams.
Strong understanding of financial products including various derivatives instruments and workflow, investment strategies, and portfolio and risk management processes.
Proficiency in project management tools and software (e.g., MS Project, JIRA, Confluence).
Excellent problem-solving skills with a focus on delivering practical, effective solutions.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to manage relationships across all levels of the organization.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail a must.
