About this role

We are seeking an IT Manager specializing in End User Services (EUS), local regulatory compliance, and supporting IT Security and Business Continuity Planning (BCP) initiatives. As a startup hedge fund with ambitious goals and a focus on Asia, we are looking for an IT Manager who not only aligns with our vision but is also eager to build and support our workspace technology team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and maintain environments with desktop PCs, laptops, printers and mobile devices. 

  • Manage and troubleshoot on-site network connectivity and infrastructure.

  • Manage user onboarding and offboarding for IT assets and accesses.

  • Provide end-user support for the different Electronic Trading platforms, ensuring accessibility and network connectivity at all times. 

  • Assist with the optimization of IT operations, infrastructure, applications, and processes, ensuring seamless integration to support business objectives. 

  • Assist in the development and implementation of policies, procedures, and solutions related to IT, IT Security, and Business Continuity Planning (BCP), aligning with business directions and regulatory requirements.

  • Collaborate with multiple stakeholders to identify and address technology needs. 

  • Liaise with suppliers for timely and cost-effective acquisition of quality hardware and software.

Requirements 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

  • Over 3 years of IT management experience, focusing on End User Services (EUS), preferably in a financial services or startup environment.

  • Proficiency in managing a range of hardware devices.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. 

  • Excellent communication abilities.

  • Adaptability to a fast-paced and dynamic startup environment. 

Nice-to-Haves

  • Familiarity with regulatory and compliance environments.

  • Experience in M365 tenant management is a significant plus.

  • Experience in cloud engineering, such as AWS and Azure, is a significant plus. 

  • ITIL v3 Foundation in IT Service Management is a plus. 

  • Experience with financial software such as Bloomberg Terminal is a plus.
