Infrastructure and Workspace Technology Engineer

Overview:

Location: Hong Kong

We are seeking a proactive and technically skilled Workspace Technology / Infrastructure Engineer to support Arrowpoint’s dynamic, cloud-first environment. This role requires a strong problem-solver with excellent communication skills who can deliver responsive end-user support while contributing to the reliability, security, and efficiency of our technology operations. You will be the key interface between IT and the business - handling a wide range of hardware, software, and collaboration tool issues while also assisting with infrastructure, cloud services, and security controls. The ideal candidate takes initiative, learns quickly, and drives solutions from analysis through to implementation, working closely with teammates and vendors on both day-to-day operations and forward-looking technology projects.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver responsive workspace support, and support all facets of IT infrastructure.

• Manage employee onboarding and offboarding, including provisioning devices, accounts, and secure access.

• Maintain asset inventory and coordinate procurement and repairs with vendors.

• Assist with maintenance of network connectivity (office Wi-Fi, VPN, remote access)

• Enforce baseline security controls (MFA, device compliance, endpoint protection).

• Support cybersecurity hygiene and compliance (patching, phishing simulations, audits, access reviews).

• Proactively identify opportunities for automation and efficiency improvements in support workflows.

• Document processes, standards, configurations, and procurement details, ensuring records are up to date.

• Provide ad hoc workspace setup as needed, including desk moves, and other hands-on tasks within the office environment.

• Support the Infrastructure and Workspace Technology Manager with ad hoc responsibilities and initiatives.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.

• 2-5 years of end-user or infrastructure support experience in a professional services environment.

• Fundamental understanding of Microsoft 365 (M365) setup and management within an organization.

• Good knowledge of hardware, including desktops, laptops, and mobile devices.

• Strong customer service orientation and a passion for helping end-users resolve issues efficiently.

• The ability to remain calm under pressure and handle urgent situations with professionalism.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to multitask and manage time effectively in both independent and team settings.

• Be available and contactable for after-hours support when required.

Nice-to-Haves:

• Experience with supporting users in the financial industry or on the trading floor.

• Strong technical background with the ability to identify, analyze, and resolve issues efficiently.

• Experience with Azure Active Directory, Windows, Unix environments, desktop, and server hardware.

• Familiarity with cloud platforms such as Azure and AWS (certifications are an advantage).

• Networking knowledge is highly desirable.
