About the role

We are a dynamic and fast-growing multi-strategy hedge fund with global operations, currently expanding our Finance function. With a lean and collaborative team structure, we offer significant opportunities for personal and professional growth. The Finance Manager will oversee financial operations, reporting, and controls across the management companies and fund structures. The role will be instrumental in financial planning, fund accounting oversight, regulatory reporting, and working with external service providers.

This is a hands-on role for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.

Key Responsibilities

Manage day-to-day accounting finance operations (AP/AR, expense tracking).
Manage monthly/quarterly management accounts for fund manager.
Work closely with the operations teams on monthly closings, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting.
Oversee tax compliance, including GST, corporate income tax and other statutory or regulatory filings in relevant jurisdictions.
Coordinate year-end audits for both the management company and funds; liaise with internal auditor, external auditors and tax advisors.

Key Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance or related field.
5-8 years’ experience in multi-PM platform HFs, auditor (at Big 4), fund admins or other relevant financial sector.
Strong understanding of fund structures, fund accounting and performance reporting basic financial and accounting principles.
High proficiency with Excel; experience with accounting and portfolio systems is a plus.
Strong analytical, organizational and communication skills.
Ability to work independently in fast-paced, high-performance environment.
Strong integrity and ownership of duties.
